This 2-3 month internship is perfect for individuals interested in corporate law, commercial claims, and risk mitigation. As an intern, you will work closely with LegalPay’s Legal and Risk Underwriting Team, supporting them in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with daily tasks. The internship is on-site at their Gurugram office, providing an immersive experience into the dynamic field of litigation finance.

Eligibility
LegalPay is looking for candidates who:
- Are currently pursuing LLB or LLM.
- Have knowledge of relevant laws, including the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Companies Act, Contracts Act, Civil Procedure Code, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
- Possess strong writing, organizational, and research skills.
- Are fluent in English and have excellent drafting abilities.
- Can join immediately for an on-site internship in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Legal and Risk Intern at LegalPay, your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Legal Document Drafting: Assist the legal team in the preparation and drafting of contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research to support ongoing cases and projects.
- Daily Legal Support: Provide assistance to the legal team in their day-to-day work, including case preparation and client communication.
- Cross-departmental Support: Collaborate with other departments when required, contributing to various aspects of the business.
- Data Management: Help maintain data records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Client Communication: Assist in communicating with clients on legal matters.
