Eligibility
– Education: Candidates must possess a degree in B.Tech, B.Sc., M.Tech, M.Sc., B.E., B.Pharma, or M.Pharma, specifically in the domains of Chemical or Pharmaceutical sciences.
– Skills and Experience: The ideal candidates should have experience in drafting patent specifications (both provisional and complete), drafting responses to examination reports, and preparing post-hearing written submissions. Familiarity with filing patent applications and handling post-filing formalities at the Indian Patent Office is required. Experience in hearing preparation and attendance, as well as patent litigation support, will be advantageous.
Role and Responsibilities
– Drafting patent specifications, including provisional and complete specifications.
– Preparing responses to examination reports issued by the Indian Patent Office.
– Drafting post-hearing written submissions for patent applications.
– Managing the filing of patent applications and post-filing formalities.
– Assisting in the preparation for hearings and attending hearings as needed.
– Providing support in patent litigation, including legal research and document preparation.
