NITI Aayog is offering an internship opportunity for students and research scholars at its Delhi office. This internship is part of the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme, which aims to engage students and scholars in public policy and economic development. The engagement period can range from six weeks to six months.
About Organization
NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) is the premier public policy think tank of the Government of India. It is responsible for driving economic development and fostering cooperative federalism by involving State Governments in the policy-making process. The Aayog uses a bottom-up approach to ensure inclusive and sustainable development.
Eligibility
– For UG students: Completed or appeared in the term-end exams of the 2nd year/4th semester with at least 85% or equivalent marks in the 12th class.
– For Graduate students: Completed or appeared in the term-end exams of the 1st year/2nd semester of their post-graduate program or pursuing research/Ph.D. with at least 70% or equivalent marks in Graduation.
– Final-year students awaiting admission for higher studies may apply if they have secured 70% or more cumulative marks in their Graduation/Post-Graduation till the date of application.
– The gap between the final exam result declaration and the desired internship month should not exceed six months.
Role and Responsibilities
– Assist with research and analysis on public policy and economic development topics.
– Contribute to reports and documents related to policy recommendations and implementation.
– Engage in discussions and projects related to various areas of interest within NITI Aayog.
– Provide support to different departments and teams as needed.
