This is an exciting opportunity for law students to gain in-depth knowledge of IPR, particularly trademarks, while working closely with experienced professionals. The firm is looking for interns who can join immediately and commit to a long-term internship during October and November 2024. This internship will provide participants with practical exposure to the workings of an IPR team and enhance their understanding of trademark law.

Eligibility
The internship is open to:
- 4th and 5th-year students of the 5-year LLB program.
- 2nd and 3rd-year students of the 3-year LLB program.
Candidates must be enthusiastic about learning and working in the field of intellectual property rights, especially trademark law. Students looking for shorter internships are discouraged from applying, as this opportunity requires a long-term commitment.
Role and Responsibilities
As an intern with Jain & Partners, your primary focus will be on trademark law. Key responsibilities include:
- Research: Conduct legal research on trademark law and its various aspects, such as filing, opposition, and infringement cases.
- Drafting: Assist in drafting trademark applications, responses to objections, legal notices, and other documents related to trademark proceedings.
- Case Management: Help organize and maintain trademark case files, track deadlines, and assist in preparing documents for hearings.
- Client Interaction: Assist the legal team in coordinating with clients regarding trademark applications, hearings, and compliance requirements.
- Trademark Filing and Prosecution: Gain hands-on experience in trademark filing processes and the procedures involved in the prosecution of trademarks.
