Eligibility
Candidates interested in the Associate Legal Counsel position must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a BA LLB or Master’s in Law from a reputed law school.
- Have 4-8 years of experience in legal roles, especially in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of legal principles, contract law, and industry-specific knowledge in IT and corporate compliance.
- Possess excellent legal research skills, along with a basic understanding of market trends, financial policies, and IT-related laws.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Legal Counsel at Infosys, your key responsibilities will include:
- Protecting the company’s legal interests and maintaining legal compliance within established regulations.
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including Vendor Service Agreements, License or SaaS Agreements, and Alliance Agreements, with a focus on IT services.
- Advising on commercial risks and analyzing legal issues that may affect the company’s operations.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and customers, ensuring compliance with internal contracting requirements and risk mitigation protocols.
- Providing legal advisory on corporate compliance, and tracking relevant laws and regulations that impact the company’s policies and business operations.
