Eligibility
To be eligible for the Regulatory Counsel position, candidates must have:
- A JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Admission to the bar and in good standing or authorization to practice law in the state where the position is located.
- A minimum of 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Indian litigation, particularly in various courts and the Indian Supreme Court on competition issues.
- Experience working with technology companies and an understanding of technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Regulatory Counsel at Google, you will:
- Manage various aspects of competition law cases in the region.
- Work with legal, product, engineering, and business team members to provide counsel on competition issues.
- Partner with outside counsel to resolve competition issues.
