The Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC) is seeking a Law Officer to join their team. This deputation role is for in-service government employees working in the Telangana State Government, Government of India, Public Sector Undertakings of Telangana State Government/Government of India on deputation under foreign service terms and conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the TPSC on a variety of matters.
About the Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC)
The Telangana Public Service Commission is a constitutional body responsible for recruiting employees for the various departments of the Telangana government. The TPSC conducts examinations and interviews to shortlist and select candidates for various posts.
Eligibility
- In-service government employee working in Telangana State Govt. / Govt. of India / Public Sector Undertakings of Telangana State Govt./Govt. of India on deputation under foreign service terms and conditions
- LL.M. or LL.B. degree with a minimum of five years of experience dealing with legal issues
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to the TPSC on a variety of matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
- Draft legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
- Represent the TPSC in court, if necessary
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments relevant to the TPSC’s work

- Salary in the range of ₹77,840 – ₹1,36,520 per month (pay scale as of June 12, 2024)

Mode and Location
- This is a deputation role, so the successful candidate will be on deputation to the TPSC for a period of five years.
- The position is located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
