Eligibility

  • In the case of the Industrial Tribunal under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), a person shall not be qualified for appointment as Presiding Officer unless he:
    • (a) is, or has been, a Judge of a High Court; or
    • (b) has, for a combined period of ten years, been a District Judge and Additional District Judge.
