About the Internship
The National Law Scholars Program (NLSP), an initiative under Bharat Navodaya Abhiyan (BNA), offers a valuable paid internship opportunity for law students and recent graduates. This program invites passionate individuals to contribute to teaching and mentoring high school students preparing for CLAT, providing them with both educational guidance and strategic support within the organization.
About the Organization
The National Law Scholars Program (NLSP) is a flagship project of Bharat Navodaya Abhiyan (BNA) in collaboration with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), operating under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The NLSP aims to nurture talented high school students from over 150 selected districts across India. The students participate in an 18-month residential program designed to prepare them for law college entrance exams while enhancing their life skills and leadership abilities. Post-program support extends to college admissions, scholarships, internships, and career guidance.
Eligibility
- Current law students or recent graduates from National Law Universities (NLUs).
- Candidates must have appeared for the CLAT and possess an in-depth understanding of the syllabus and exam pattern.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring is essential.
- Basic computer skills and access to a laptop are required.
Role and Responsibilities
Interns will be engaged in various capacities based on their availability and interest:
- Teaching CLAT Aspirants: Interns must be proficient in teaching at least two components of the CLAT syllabus, dedicating a minimum of 3 hours daily.
- Full-Time Interns: In addition to teaching, full-time interns will be assigned non-teaching strategic tasks and will work directly with senior leadership.
- Part-Time Interns: Part-time interns will focus exclusively on teaching for 3 hours each day.
Interns will have the flexibility to choose between the Centre of Excellence in Noida or Hyderabad for their placement. Free accommodation and meals may be provided, although staying on campus is not mandatory.
