About the Organisation

Shuruwat Foundation is a government-registered NGO established in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in 2019. Recognized by the government in March 2020, the foundation has since expanded its operations to Uttarakhand. The foundation’s mission encompasses a broad range of social causes, including human development, environment development, women’s safety and welfare, job opportunities for the underprivileged, and children’s welfare. The Shuruwat Foundation is dedicated to creating a positive impact and improving the quality of life for the underserved sections of society.

Eligibility

The internship is open to all individuals with a passion for social work and community service. No specific qualifications or prior experience are required, making it an inclusive opportunity for anyone interested in contributing to societal betterment.

Role and Responsibilities

The internship is divided into four weeks, each focusing on a different aspect of the foundation’s work:

  • Week 1: Editorial
  • Interns will choose a topic related to social welfare and write an article to create awareness and inspire action through their words.
  • Week 2: Fundraising
  • Interns will engage in fundraising activities to support the foundation’s various initiatives.
  • Week 3: PR & Marketing
  • Interns will promote the foundation’s activities, spread awareness about its work, and help expand its reach by sharing posters and social media links.
  • Week 4: Social Welfare
  • Interns will participate in direct social work, such as distributing sanitary pads and food to those in need.
