About the Publication

The NALSAR Law Review (NLR) is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal published by the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Established with the aim of promoting legal scholarship and facilitating academic discussions, NLR publishes articles, essays, case comments, and book reviews on various legal topics.

Theme

The upcoming issue of the NALSAR Law Review welcomes submissions on any contemporary legal issue. The authors can explore diverse areas of law and provide innovative insights into legal theory, practice, and policy.

Eligibility

The call for papers is open to:

  • Academicians and researchers
  • Legal practitioners and professionals
  • Law students (both undergraduate and postgraduate)

Submission Guidelines

Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines for their submissions:

  • Word Limit: Articles should be between 5,000 to 8,000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
  • Formatting: Submissions should be in MS Word format, with Times New Roman font, size 12, and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Citation Style: The Bluebook (20th edition) citation format should be followed.
  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Submission Deadline: July 31, 2024
  • Review Period: August 1 – September 30, 2024
  • Notification of Acceptance: October 15, 2024
  • Publication Date: November 30, 2024

Registration Fee

There is no registration fee for submitting papers to the NALSAR Law Review. The publication aims to encourage wide participation and accessibility for scholars from diverse backgrounds.
