About the Publication
The Department of Law at Aliah University, Kolkata, is proud to announce a National-Level Seminar ( Call for paper) focusing on the evolution, current trends, and issues related to Constitutional rights in India. This prestigious event aims to gather students, academicians, research scholars, lawyers, and other interested participants to engage in insightful discussions and present their research findings. Selected papers from the seminar will be published in an edited book with an ISBN code from a reputed publisher, offering a significant platform for contributors to showcase their work.
Theme
The seminar will address various facets of Constitutional rights, aiming to examine recent significant developments in the Constitution of India. Participants are encouraged to explore topics such as the Constitution’s impact on national identity, judicial review, access to justice, civil society, media freedom, federalism, liberty and security, social justice, emerging technologies, environmental protection, and the future of constitutionalism.

Submission Guidelines
Participants interested in presenting their research papers should adhere to the following guidelines:
- Abstract: 250-300 words
- Full Paper: 3000-5000 words
- Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 Spacing
- File Type: MS Word

- Last Date for Abstract Submission: June 20, 2024
- Intimation of Selected Abstracts: June 21, 2024
- Last Date for Full Paper Submission: June 25, 2024
Registration Fee
- Student Participation Only: Rs. 400
- UG Student Participation cum Paper Presentation: Rs. 500
- PG Student Participation cum Paper Presentation: Rs. 600
- Advocate/Others: Rs. 600
- Research Scholar: Rs. 700
- Academician: Rs. 800
- Online Participation & Paper Presentation: Rs. 1000
- Foreign Participation: Rs. 3000 *For joint paper presentations, each author must register individually. The registration fee includes a seminar kit and working lunch.
Mode
The seminar will be held in person at Aliah University, Park Circus Campus, Kolkata, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This mode of participation will provide attendees with a rich, immersive experience, fostering networking and collaborative opportunities.
