Eligibility
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Strict adherence to deadlines and timelines.
- Excellent drafting skills and proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to handle legal matters logically and legally, ensuring comprehensive client protection in non-litigation matters and aiming for successful outcomes in litigation.
- Competence in playing various roles, including that of a devil’s advocate, judge, and client’s advocate, in all assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills to avoid any misunderstandings or confusion when interacting with Adv. Siddiquee, his team, or clients.
- Access to a personal laptop or computer.
Role and Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for handling and drafting a range of legal documents, including but not limited to:
- Civil and Criminal Writs
- Bail Applications
- Civil Suits
- Matrimonial Pleadings
- Notices
- Agreements
- Commercial Suits
- Public Interest Litigations (PILs)
Perks
The internship offers a competitive stipend with a structured payment plan:
- Duration: Minimum of 6 months.
- Initial Stipend: Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month for the first three months, paid cumulatively at the end of the third month (Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 45,000).
- Hike: A 50% increase on the last stipend for the remaining three months.
- Final Stipend: Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 22,500 per month, paid cumulatively at the end of the sixth month.
- Certification: Interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.
Mode and Location
This internship is conducted entirely online, allowing interns to work from the comfort of their homes while gaining substantial legal experience.
