About the Publication
Nirma University’s Institute of Law, established in 2007, is organizing a National Conference on Contemporary Issues and Challenges in Labour and Industrial Laws. The event, scheduled for October 18-19, 2024, aims to address the legal challenges affecting labour laws and industrial regulations. The conference is an opportunity for professionals, academicians, and students to engage in discussions on emerging legal issues in this crucial field.
Theme
The primary theme of the conference is Contemporary Issues and Challenges in Labour and Industrial Laws. Sub-themes include:
- Issues in Remuneration/Wages of Labour
- Social Security Provisions
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Conditions
- Industrial Relations
Authors are also encouraged to submit papers on any other topic of contemporary relevance within the broader scope of labour and industrial laws.
Eligibility
The conference welcomes submissions from:
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
- PhD Scholars
- Academicians
- Industry Experts
- Professionals and Other Participants
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract: 250-300 words explaining the topic, structure, and conclusion.
- Keywords: 5-7 keywords accompanying the abstract.
- Format: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 line spacing, Bluebook 20th edition for citations.
- Co-Authorship: Allowed up to a maximum of two authors.
- Cover Letter: Must include the names, designations, institutional affiliations, and contact details of all authors.
- Abstracts must be submitted in PDF format.
