About the Internship
The Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan, a sitting Judge of the Supreme Court of India, is offering physical, full-time internships for law students from November 2024 to May 2025. This internship provides an immersive experience into the Indian judicial process, allowing interns to contribute to legal research, case preparation, and more. Eligibility
The internship is open to:
- Undergraduate law students: Students in the 2nd year or above of a 3-year program and the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law program.
- Postgraduate law students: Those pursuing a master’s degree in law.
Role and Responsibilities
- Case Summarization: Interns will prepare briefs summarizing the facts of cases, the legal arguments, and relevant case laws.
- Legal Research: Conducting in-depth legal research to support ongoing cases, drafting memos, and offering opinions on legal matters.
- Court Proceedings: Interns will attend court sessions, observe the arguments, and take detailed minutes to assist in case management.
- Confidentiality: Interns are expected to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring that all sensitive information handled during the internship is kept secure.

Selection Process
