The Office of Justice Shalinder Kaur at the High Court of Delhi is inviting applications for internship starting from August 2024 onwards. This prestigious opportunity is ideal for law students seeking to gain hands-on experience in a high court environment.
About Organization
The High Court of Delhi is one of the premier judicial institutions in India, known for its significant role in the administration of justice. Justice Shalinder Kaur’s office provides law students with an enriching experience, exposing them to various facets of judicial processes, legal research, and case analysis. Interns will have the chance to work closely with Justice Shalinder Kaur and her team, gaining invaluable insights into the workings of the judiciary.
Eligibility
- Students in their 4th/5th year of a 5-year law course and 2nd/3rd year of a 3-year law course
- Candidates with prior judicial internship experience in High Courts and/or the Supreme Court
- Candidates’ interest, dedication, and willingness to learn in a judicial internship are highly valued
Role and Responsibilities
– Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of case briefs
– Observe court proceedings and gain practical insights into the judicial process
– Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents
– Support the office in various legal and administrative tasks
– Participate in discussions and meetings, providing analytical inputs

Mode and Location
The internship will be conducted in-person at the High Court of Delhi.

Interested candidates should fill out the Google form to apply. Please ensure to submit your application at least six weeks before your desired internship period. If applying for multiple slots, fill out the form for each slot separately.
Important Dates
– Deadline to apply: Six weeks before the desired internship period
– Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email about 2 to 3 weeks before the commencement of the internship
– If you do not hear back 2 to 4 weeks before your desired internship period, consider your application not shortlisted
