About the Competition
The 3rd IFIM National Moot Court Competition aims to challenge and engage participants with real-world legal issues within the realm of competition law. This year’s moot proposition, crafted by Ms Anubhuti Mishra, an expert in competition law with credentials from King’s College London and Hidayatullah National Law University, promises a thought-provoking and enriching experience. The competition is designed to enhance participants’ legal reasoning and advocacy skills, focusing on the vital aspects of maintaining competitive markets and ensuring consumer welfare. About IFIM Law School
Established in 2014, IFIM Law School has quickly ascended the ranks of India’s top law schools. Based in the tech hub of Bengaluru, the institution is recognized for its excellence in legal education. Eligibility Criteria
- Participants: The competition is open to students enrolled in LL.B. degree courses (3-year or 5-year) from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Team Composition: Each institution can send up to two teams, with no cross-institutional teams allowed.
- Team Registration: Limited to the first 32 teams on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Prizes
- Winning Team: Cash prize of Rs. 60,000, an internship opportunity with Singhania & Co. LLP, three one-year subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 72,000 each, along with a trophy and certificates.
- Runner-Up Team: Cash prize of Rs. 40,000, an internship opportunity with VGB Associates, three quarterly subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 72,000 each, along with a trophy and certificates.
- Individual Awards: Best Speaker (Male and Female), Best Researcher, Best Memorial (Informant), and Best Memorial (Opposite Party) will each receive Rs. 10,000 along with trophies and certificates.

Registration Fee
- Standard Fee: Rs. 5000 per team
- Early Bird Discount: Rs. 4000 if registered before June 14, 2024
- Accommodation: Additional Rs. 2000 for teams opting for accommodation
