MetaLaw Offices is hiring for the position of Senior Associate in General Corporate Commercial at their Delhi office. This role is ideal for legal professionals with 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who have a strong background in corporate commercial work. The successful candidate will handle complex legal issues, manage client interactions, and draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.

Eligibility
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of PQE in General Corporate Commercial work with a reputed law firm.
- Sector Experience: Must have worked across at least 6 sectors relevant to the firm’s practice.
- Location: Candidates must be based in Delhi or willing to relocate.
- Notice Period: Not more than 2 months.
- Exclusions: Candidates with only litigation/dispute resolution or in-house experience are not eligible.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate at MetaLaw Offices, you will:
- Client Interaction: Manage and build client relationships.
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, and vet commercial contracts including JVAs, tender documents, and complex agreements.
- Legal Opinions: Prepare legal opinions and research legal issues.
- Business Structuring: Advise on business structuring and liaise with internal teams.
- Compliance and Advisory: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and advise on matters such as platform terms, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and use strong legal and business judgment in handling complex legal issues.
