Eligibility
To apply for the IR Compliance Lead position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in industrial relations, compliance, and labor law.
- Education: Post-graduation in LLB, Labor Laws, or Social Work is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Hindi (read, write, speak).
- Strong experience in handling disciplinary cases, including managing evidence and ensuring legal compliance.
- Knowledge of drafting legal documents such as charge sheets, show cause notices, and memos.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including HR, legal, and compliance teams.
Role and Responsibilities
The IR Compliance Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all employee-related legal matters are handled effectively and in compliance with laws and corporate policies. The key responsibilities include:
- Disciplinary Matter Handling: Guide HR Business Partners (HRBP) in managing disciplinary cases and ensure timely closure of incidents with proper legal oversight.
- Incident Management: Track all reported incidents, maintain detailed records, and manage the resolution process.
- Document Drafting: Draft legal documents such as charge sheets, show cause notices, and memos as needed.
- Inquiry Proceedings: Conduct inquiry proceedings under the guidance of the Regional Compliance Manager, ensure proper documentation, and ensure that cases are closed appropriately to minimize litigation.
- Punitive Actions: Suggest appropriate punitive actions based on the nature of misconduct, ensuring consistency across branches.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with multiple teams, including HR, Corporate Compliance, and Legal, for effective case management.
- Litigation Management: Work closely with the Corporate Counsel and Compliance teams to handle litigation matters, including attending hearings at labor courts and tribunals.
- Additional Duties: Participate in domestic inquiries, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) investigations, and contractor audits.
