Eligibility
To be eligible for the Senior Legal Specialist role at ICICIDirect, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: Significant experience in litigation management and contract vetting, especially in the financial services industry.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Legal Specialist at ICICIDirect, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contract Vetting: Drafting and reviewing legal agreements and contracts to be executed with third parties, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Handling contracts related to merchant banking, institutional broking, and financial services such as IPOs, FPOs, buybacks, takeovers, and ESOP funding.
- Litigation Management: Developing and implementing strategies for handling litigation, legal notices, and regulatory proceedings to protect the company’s interests and image.
- Legal Advisory: Liaising with law firms to obtain legal opinions for internal teams, managing external legal counsel, and ensuring cost-effective legal representation.
- Compliance Monitoring: Tracking legal matters, updating management on developments, and maintaining legal MIS for internal communication.
- Coordinating with internal teams: Working closely with various departments to close legal agreements and provide advice on corporate and regulatory matters.
