Eligibility
The position is open to lawyers with 2-5 years of PQE. Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and transactional documents.
- Familiarity with the Companies Act 2013, SEBI, and FEMA regulations.
- Expertise in structuring PE/M&A transactions.
Preference will be given to those who have substantial experience in contract drafting and transactional work, specifically in the areas of private equity and mergers and acquisitions.
Role and Responsibilities
The Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts such as service agreements, procurement agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
- Assisting in the structuring of private equity (PE) and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
- Preparing and reviewing all deal-related documents, including agreements and contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate regulations under the Companies Act, SEBI, and FEMA guidelines.
The role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously.
