Eligibility
To qualify for the role of Legal Counsel/Legal Manager, candidates must:
- Be a qualified lawyer with 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the legal sector, LPOs, or multinational corporations.
- Have direct experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and technology-related contracts.
- Possess strong knowledge of common law jurisdictions like English law.
- Be fluent in English, with excellent skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Be capable of handling medium to high-complexity CIT (Commercial and Information Technology) contracts with minimal supervision.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Legal Counsel/Legal Manager at Prometheus Consulting, you will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and technology contracts, including software and data licenses, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), proof of concept agreements, general service agreements, and intellectual property licenses.
- Work on agreements such as software-as-a-service (SaaS) contracts, cloud service agreements, HR service agreements, professional service agreements, and outsourcing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company terms and positions, focusing on handling medium to high-complexity contracts independently.
- Provide legal support with minimal need for upskilling or supervision, focusing on quickly adapting to the company’s requirements.
