Eligibility
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with MS Office and general computer skills.
- A strong interest in legal research and document drafting.
- Available to work on-site at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
While no prior legal experience is required, candidates who are pursuing a law degree or have recently graduated from law school will be given preference.
Roles and Responsibilities
During the internship, selected candidates will engage in the following tasks:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of topics, including corporate, civil, and criminal law.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, agreements, and case summaries.
- Attend client meetings and court proceedings to observe and gain firsthand exposure to real-world legal practices.
- Support the legal team in case preparation, reviewing legal documents, and developing case strategies.
- Collaborate with attorneys to create arguments and contribute to case management.
- Represent the firm in external meetings when required.
- Assist in marketing efforts and sourcing new legal cases for the firm.
