Mode: Virtual, full-day
This internship will run for the entire month of December, and the firm is looking for enthusiastic law students who are eager to work on data privacy matters. The internship is virtual, allowing candidates to work remotely but still fully engage in the day-to-day responsibilities of the Data Privacy Team.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be:
- In the 4th or 5th year of their 5-year law degree course, or
- In the 3rd year of their 3-year law degree course.
Preference will be given to those who have prior experience in internships related to data privacy laws.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Data Privacy Intern at AMLEGALS, your primary responsibilities will involve assisting the Data Privacy Team in various tasks, including:
- Conducting research on current data privacy laws and regulations.
- Drafting legal opinions and documentation on data protection issues.
- Assisting with compliance matters for clients.
- Providing support in preparing reports and recommendations for clients on data security policies.
- Collaborating with team members to address legal queries on data privacy.
