Emami Realty is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Assistant Manager/Manager for their Legal department. This role is tailored for candidates with experience in handling legal issues, drafting and reviewing legal/commercial contracts, and providing administrative legal assistance within the organization. The position requires a deep understanding of legal matters related to real estate, including project contracts, land management contracts, and business-related contracts.

Eligibility
– Qualification: LLB, with an LLM being an added advantage
– Gender: Male
– Industry Experience: Must have experience in the real estate industry
Role and Responsibilities
– Execute activities in handling legal issues and drafting/reviewing legal/commercial contracts and agreements for all internal departments
– Provide administrative legal assistance by maintaining various records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements
– Prepare legal correspondence and coordinate with customers, external counsel, and other vendors to collect information/documents pertaining to legal matters
– Handle and execute all legal issues related to project contracts, land management contracts, business-related contracts, and arbitration in consultation with senior management
– Prepare initial drafts of various agreements, legal disputes, legal policies, and procedures
– Assist higher authorities in negotiating, structuring, drafting, reviewing, and finalizing various agreements, MOUs, and letters of intent
– Assist in drafting matters by providing necessary documents to solicitors/advocates
– Draft and vet all documents pertaining to the sale of residential/commercial properties, including project contracts, commercial contracts, business contracts, allotment letters, agreements to sale, and sale deeds
– Coordinate with internal business representatives and external lawyers/senior counsel under senior management’s guidance
– Keep track of various court cases filed by/against the company
– Handle activities related to revenue, civil, criminal, indirect taxation matters, and other legal matters of the organization
– Prepare initial sales deeds, sale agreements, power of attorney deeds, settlement deeds, trust deeds, construction agreements, and other allied agreements/deeds
– Liaise with advocates/solicitors for all documents and update higher authority and management on legal issues
