Eligibility
To be eligible for the position of Law Officer, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a degree in law (Special) or LL.B. (three years) or Degree in Law (integrated) of five years course from a recognized university or educational institution.
- Have at least three years of active and continuous experience as an advocate, certified by the Registrar General of the High Court or the Presiding Officer of the court/tribunal where the candidate practices; or have at least three years of experience in legal matters in the Government/Local Bodies/Government undertakings/Board/Corporation/University/Limited Companies established under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Possess basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967.
- Possess adequate knowledge of English and Gujarati or Hindi or both.

As a Law Officer at GPSC, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling legal matters and providing legal advice to the commission.
