Invesco India Pvt. Ltd. is actively seeking an Assistant Manager, Legal to join its Global Legal Support Team (GLST) in Hyderabad. This full-time position involves managing a team of legal analysts and providing essential support to Invesco’s in-house attorneys across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions. The role focuses on drafting, summarizing, and negotiating legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with corporate governance processes. Eligibility
- Candidates should have 7-10 years of legal experience, preferably with an investment advisor or mutual fund group in a legal or regulatory environment.
- 3 years of people management experience is preferred, as the role involves supervising a team of legal analysts.
- A Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) or higher legal education is required.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation, legal research, and negotiation skills is essential.
- Experience with back-office operations and securities laws/regulations is an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are important.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 5-7 legal analysts from the Hyderabad office.
- Supervising and contributing to legal work, including drafting, summarizing, and negotiating agreements (software licenses, SaaS/cloud agreements, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.).
- Assisting in the preparation of offering documents for regulated investment products.
- Conducting legal research and supporting corporate governance processes.
- Facilitating cross-regional collaboration with legal teams in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Leading one or two of the firm’s Practice Areas, which may include legal analysts and paralegals from different regions.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and career pathing discussions to optimize team performance and retain talent.

Mode and Location
