Eligibility
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: Master of Laws (LL.M.) specializing in Corporate/Commercial Law.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate and commercial legal matters.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of UAE business laws and regulations.
- Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with technology-related legal issues (preferred).
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the Head of Corporate Commercial, the selected candidate will:
- Lead and develop the firm’s Corporate Commercial practice group.
- Drive high-value corporate transactions and strategic negotiations.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, and commercial law matters.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, with a focus on technology-driven industries.
- Play a key role in the firm’s thought leadership initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing legal team to support the firm’s strategic goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE business regulations.
