The department works on a wide range of laws, including the Constitution of India, the Indian Contract Act, and various other civil and administrative laws.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Essential Qualification: An LLB degree (First Class) from a recognized university, completed on or before April 1, 2024.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with an LLM, additional qualifications, or research experience.
- Post-qualification experience, published papers, or work in relevant legal fields
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Age Limit: Candidates must not be older than 32 years as of January 1, 2024.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Young Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the legislative drafting process.
- Conducting legal research on constitutional, civil, and administrative laws.
- Supporting the drafting and review of new laws and amendments.
- Working on legal aspects of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam of 2023.
- Collaborating with senior legal professionals to ensure legal accuracy and coherence in drafting.
