Eligibility
To be eligible for the Legal Head position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A degree in Law (LLB) – either a 3-year or 5-year program.
- Experience:
- Candidates working in the Central/State Government, PSUs, or autonomous organizations need a minimum of 12 years of total experience.
- For the DGM (E5) role: Candidates should have at least 2 years in the E4 grade (₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000) or in the CDA scale at Level 11.
- For the CM (E4) role: Candidates should have at least 2 years in the E3 grade (₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000) or in the CDA scale at Level 10.
- Candidates from the private sector need to have a CTC of at least ₹14.75 LPA for the rank of E4 and ₹17.20 LPA for the rank of E5, and experience in companies with an annual turnover of ₹250 crores or more.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Legal Head, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all legal matters related to the company’s operations, including contracts, negotiations, and litigation.
- Providing strategic legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory issues, and compliance matters.
- Managing the company’s legal risks and ensuring legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements and contracts related to the company’s business operations.
- Coordinating with external legal counsel for specialized legal matters, such as disputes and litigation.
