Terra Economics & Analytics Lab (TEAL) is seeking a qualified Legal Executive to join their team. The role involves preparing Legal Scrutiny Reports and offering legal opinions to support clients in simplifying their property due diligence processes. This position is ideal for legal professionals with experience in property laws, real estate law, and property documentation. The company is looking for candidates who can join immediately or within a 30-day notice period.

Terra Economics & Analytics Lab (TEAL) is a cutting-edge decision support platform for land and property transactions. TEAL provides analytical tools and services for banks, housing finance companies, real estate developers, retail investors, and other parties involved in land and property transactions. The platform utilizes data from a wide array of sources, including land records, property registrations, tax filings, court mandates, land-use regulations, cadastral surveys, and more, to offer comprehensive insights into the property landscape.

Eligibility

Candidates with 6 months to 3 years of experience in property laws, property due diligence, the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), and title search reports are encouraged to apply. The role requires the ability to work with confidential documents, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati is a must, particularly in reading. While a background in litigation is preferred, it is not compulsory. A solid understanding of real estate laws, especially RERA, is highly advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Legal Executive at TEAL, your key responsibilities will include:

– Conducting title due diligence and verifying legal documents.

– Drafting and vetting contracts and other legal documents.

– Managing assigned cases effectively and reporting escalations in a timely manner.

– Coordinating with external counsels and clients to ensure smooth operations.

– Conducting research on land laws across different states and coordinating with vendors to secure necessary documents and reports.

– Handling property registration work and other related tasks as assigned.

This position offers a competitive salary of Rs 30,000-35,000 per month (CTC). Mode and Location

The position is flexible, with options to work either from TEAL’s Bangalore office or remotely, depending on your preference and performance during the interview process.
