Edifecs, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Corporate Attorney to join its legal administrative team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from the company’s India office, catering to a variety of work preferences. As an Associate Corporate Attorney, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s contracting processes, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding the company’s interests through meticulous legal work.

Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution is required. A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working as in-house counsel in a technology-focused environment, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer use. Experience with document comparison tools is advantageous.
- Key Attributes: Attention to detail, ability to flag issues, propose solutions, and work independently.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Corporate Attorney at Edifecs, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contract Management: Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts, with a particular focus on SaaS agreements and software licensing, to ensure they meet the company’s requirements and protect its interests.
- Legal Analysis: Providing legal analysis with a focus on understanding and communicating business implications to internal stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Documentation: Ensuring contracts are tracked, maintained, and stored in an organized manner, with all records accurate and up to date.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other legal team members to support the commercial needs of Edifecs’ business.
