The Deputy Manager (Legal) will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of legal issues, representing the company in various courts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Deputy Manager (Legal) position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Full-Time Graduate degree and a full-time LL.B. degree from a university/institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in handling matters related to Civil Laws, Commercial Law, Arbitration Law, Companies Act & Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Labour Laws, Service matters, and more.
- Sector-specific Experience: Candidates from Government, PSU, or Autonomous organizations should have at least 2 years of experience in the immediate lower grade. Private sector candidates or private practitioners must have a comparable CTC to AM Grade (E-1) for a minimum of 2 years.
- Military Background: Naval Officers of the rank of Sub-Lieutenant and above or equivalent in the Army, Air Force, or Coast Guard meeting the experience criteria may also apply.
Role and Responsibilities
The Deputy Manager (Legal) at GRSE will be responsible for:
- Handling legal matters related to civil laws, commercial law, CPC, IPC, Cr.PC, arbitration law, and more.
- Representing GRSE in various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, and Tribunals.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
- Providing legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Collaborating with external legal counsels and managing litigation effectively.
- Ensuring adherence to legal procedures and maintaining updated knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
