JSA, one of India’s leading national law firms, is hiring for the position of Associate in its TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications)/Employment and Benefits practice area. The position is based in Bengaluru and requires 1-2 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).The role involves working on a wide range of legal matters, including technology, media, telecommunications, and employment and benefits law.

Eligibility
- Post Qualification Experience: 1-2 years in the legal field, particularly in technology, media laws, and/or employment and benefits laws.
- Freshers from top law schools with excellent academic records and credentials are also welcome to apply.
- Strong research and drafting skills, with a good understanding of basic legal concepts in the relevant practice areas.
- Knowledge of technology and media laws or experience in employment and benefits laws is highly preferred.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate at JSA’s TMT/Employment and Benefits Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with legal advice and regulatory guidance in matters related to technology, media, telecommunications, and employment law.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, employment agreements, and policies related to technology and employment law matters.
- Providing assistance in litigation and dispute resolution cases involving employment and technology sector disputes.
- Conducting legal research on various issues related to labor law, benefits, and regulatory compliance in the tech and media industries.
- Collaborating with senior associates and partners in developing legal strategies for clients.
- Engaging in client meetings, preparing legal opinions, and delivering presentations on legal matters related to the practice area.

Mode and Location
This is a full-time position based in JSA’s Bengaluru office. While the role primarily requires in-office presence, there may be occasional remote work opportunities depending on client requirements.
