Tatva Legal, Chennai, is seeking to onboard an Advocate with 2-3 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) for its Dispute Resolution Team. The position is ideal for candidates with a passion for handling a variety of legal disputes, including Arbitration, Banking Disputes, Consumer Disputes, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, RERA Disputes, and General Civil/Commercial/Corporate Litigation. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to represent clients in prominent legal forums, including the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, Civil Courts, NCLT, DRT, and various other dispute redressal bodies.

Eligibility
Candidates applying for the position of Advocate at Tatva Legal must meet the following criteria:
- Post Qualification Experience (PQE): 2-3 years of experience in the legal field.
- Prior experience or strong interest in Arbitration, Banking Disputes, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Consumer Disputes, and Civil/Commercial Litigation.
- Location: Candidates based in Chennai are preferred due to the local nature of the cases.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
Role and Responsibilities
As part of the Dispute Resolution Team, the selected candidate will:
- Represent clients in a wide variety of dispute resolution forums, including the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, Civil Courts, NCLT, DRT, DRAT, NCLAT, DCDRC, SCDRC, TNRERA, and TNREAT.
- Handle cases related to Arbitration, Banking Disputes, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Consumer Disputes, and other Tatva LegaL.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including petitions, responses, agreements, and other relevant filings.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare case briefs.
- Provide legal opinions and strategy recommendations to clients on ongoing disputes.
- Collaborate with senior advocates and partners on complex litigation cases.

Mode and Location
This is a full-time, in-office position located at Tatva Legal’s office in Chennai. Candidates who are based in Chennai will be given preference due to the nature of the legal matters and court appearances required for this role.
