About the Organization

NLUD is a premier law university in India known for its academic excellence and commitment to legal education and research. The IPR Chair was instituted in collaboration with DPIIT to promote interdisciplinary research and education in the field of intellectual property rights.

Eligibility

Candidates with a graduate (LL.B.), post-graduate (LL.M.), or Ph.D. in Law, demonstrating a keen interest in interdisciplinary research in intellectual property, are encouraged to apply. Selection criteria include educational qualifications, grades, relevant experience, publications, statement of purpose, and interview performance.

Role and Responsibilities

The selected Research Assistant will support the IPR Chair in conducting research activities, including fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and report drafting. Additionally, they will supervise student researchers/interns, assist in other research and dissemination activities, and collaborate with the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property & Competition (CIIPC).

Perks

Salary for the position ranges from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications. This role offers valuable experience in legal research and exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration in intellectual property rights.

Mode and Location

The position is based at NLUD’s campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The selected candidate will work on-site, collaborating with faculty and research teams.
