Eligibility
- Post-Qualification Experience: 1 to 3 years, specifically in law firms.
- Strong knowledge of financing transactions, including experience with drafting legal documents related to banking and finance.
- Familiarity with security documentation, loan agreements, guarantees, and other relevant legal aspects of banking and finance transactions.
- A keen understanding of the legal frameworks surrounding banking laws and financial regulations in India.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate in the Banking and Finance team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing agreements, including term sheets, loan agreements, and security documents.
- Working on complex financial transactions like project finance, structured finance, and syndicated loans.
- Assisting senior associates and partners in the firm with due diligence, compliance checks, and regulatory research.
- Liaising with clients, financial institutions, and other legal counsels to ensure the smooth execution of financing deals.
- Providing legal advice on banking regulations, insolvency issues, and other financial laws.
- Keeping abreast of changes in banking laws and financial regulations to provide informed advice and documentation updates.
