Paytm is inviting applications for the position of Legal Contracts – Manager. This role involves managing legal and contractual matters for the organization while identifying and mitigating risks. The selected individual will be a part of the legal team, contributing to special projects under Paytm’s e-commerce and fintech division.

Eligibility
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in contract management, with expertise in e-commerce, FEMA, data protection, and IT laws.
- Education: Law graduate (LL.B) from reputed institutes such as National Law Schools, DU, ILS, or Symbiosis is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong legal acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Word/Office.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in fintech, payments, banks, or trading firms is highly desirable.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, proposals, RFPs, and other legal documents.
- Address contractual issues involving clients, partners, service providers, and vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement time-bound projects across business verticals.
- Provide legal support for business processes and new product development, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Manage end-to-end legal processes for assigned business transactions.
- Conduct research and assess the feasibility of new business models under e-commerce and FEMA laws.
- Analyze agreements, suggest updates, and ensure compliance with IT, e-commerce, and privacy laws.
- Offer pragmatic solutions to legal issues and risks.
