Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications:
- A JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree.
- 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firms.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the state of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience handling commercial transactions.
- Knowledge of privacy, consumer protection, antitrust, content moderation, IP law, or contract issues in a tech-driven environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the Associate, Corporate Counsel, you will:
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements for Google Cloud operations in India and West Asia.
- Develop and manage business templates while working on efficiency and training initiatives.
- Conduct legal reviews for Google’s product launches, marketing, and business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regional laws and oversee litigation matters, regulatory inquiries, and dealings with authorities.
- Advise various teams, including Business, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance, on legal issues.
