Eligibility
The ideal candidate for this role is a qualified lawyer with an LLB or LLM degree and 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate litigation and dispute resolution. The candidate should have specialized knowledge in real estate and infrastructure-related litigation. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and preferably Kannada, along with strong communication and presentation skills, are essential. The candidate should also be proficient in MS Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Legal Counsel at Infosys, the candidate will be responsible for independently handling commercial litigation and dispute resolution for the company. The role includes advising the management team on legal strategy, coordinating with external counsel, and drafting and reviewing contracts related to real estate and infrastructure. The candidate will conduct title due diligence, review project-related documents, and attend court proceedings. Additionally, the role involves tracking litigation, preparing status reports, and participating in initiatives led by the Legal Department team.
