Eligibility
Candidates should be admitted to practice law in India with at least 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Applicants must have broad experience in advising on commercial, corporate, and pharmaceutical legal matters, including drafting agreements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong track record of strategic thinking and results orientation, along with interaction with a Board of Directors
Fluency in English and Hindi is essential.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Legal Lead for Pfizer India, you will be responsible for:
– Acting as the lead internal counsel for Pfizer’s operations in India.
– Providing legal advice and services on a range of issues concerning the organization’s rights, obligations, and privileges.
– Supporting the Country Manager, Commercial Leads, and other key stakeholders in the market.
– Leading the India Legal Team and representing Pfizer in external forums.
– Managing legal strategies and ensuring compliance with national and local regulations.
– Drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing relationships with external legal service providers, and contributing to mergers, acquisitions, and business development arrangements.
– Coaching and managing the legal team while contributing to regional legal initiatives and sharing best practices.
