Wipro is seeking an experienced legal professional to join their team as an Associate Corporate Counsel in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This position is integral to Wipro’s strategic partnerships, one of the key pillars of the company’s business strategy. The role involves supporting the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of strategic partner engagements, advising business teams on various legal aspects of the partner ecosystem, and working closely with senior leadership to protect the company’s interests.

Eligibility
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years in-house
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software license agreements, IT services contracts, IP licenses, and other related legal documents
- Knowledge of legal and compliance issues related to cross-border transactions and software license compliance
- Exposure to contract disputes, including dispute resolution or litigation, is preferred
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating strategic partner engagements
- Advise business teams on various aspects related to the partner ecosystem
- Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders and provide sharp business acumen
- Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel while safeguarding Wipro’s interests
- Collaborate with other legal teams supporting customer engagements and undertake training for other legal teams
- Assist in creating templates and playbooks for the legal department
